A magnificent and unique antique matching set consisting of a necklace, bracelet and drop earrings that have screw-back fittings . The very elaborate individual curvilinear links create an wonderful undulating design to each of these pieces. The necklace alone is a phenomenal piece of art just by the way it has been cleverly designed and created with a centred double swag continuing the curvilinear links from which hang three long articulated sculptural drops. However, the main feature of this beautifully made necklace is the exquisite and fascinating off-centred ornate statement piece pendant from which hang three large articulated sculptural drops that actually sets this creation aside from any other necklaces from this era. The bracelet also emulates the same pattern as the necklace and features many sculptural articulated drops (seven in total). Once again the large earrings with their sculptural design and long articulated drops compliments this mesmerising suite of jewellery perfectly. Jewellery of this era often depicted romantic and sometimes mystical themes within their designs just like the alluring undulating curves this gorgeous suite epitomises so wonderfully. The pieces are marked silver – C.1910.
