Vintage Floral Waldybag

This pretty “Waldybag” is hand-painted (micro glass beads added) depicting a floral design on black coloured satin.  The handbag has a gold tone lift up style clasp.  The interior has the “Waldybag” logo embossed in gold and has two small internal pockets on either side and still retains the accompanying coin purse attached on a gold chain.

Finding these wonderful vintage “Waldybag” handbags that are in pristine condition, complete with the original accompanying accessories, has become increasingly rare; they are very difficult to find. The UK company of H.Wald & Co. Ltd was a supplier to the Queen and made wonderful designed handbags and accessories from the late 1920’s to the 1990’s.

The wonderful spectrum of different colours of hand painted and micro beaded artwork still retains its vibrancy;  even when moving the handbag slightly in the light you can actually see the colourful floral artwork glisten with luminosity which is truly beautiful.  These are the striking quintessential qualities that make this particular floral style of “Waldybag” handbags an absolute gem and are a very desirable vintage accessory to own.

Condition: Very good from the outside to the interior – considering the age of this piece and appears to have been very well looked after!
