Vintage Art Deco Beaded Evening Clutch/Handbag

This stunning Art Deco style evening handbag is profusely adorned with tiny round metallic bronze coloured beads that are interspersed with a wave of metallic chocolate brown shaded bugle beads.   The layered beadwork pattern is splendid and looks just like a series of undulating fans which cover both sides of the bag.  This beautiful handbag echoes the popular fan pattern that was frequently depicted in many designs during the Art Deco period.

From the gold-toned frame hangs a small snake chain that is approximately 11 inches in length giving enough room to carry on the crook of one’s arm. The frame allows the chain to be nicely tucked inside so that it can be carried as a clutch bag.  The interior is lined in black fabric which has a light sheen to it and has a small internal pocket.  This is a fabulous accessory that would look sensational with a brown or chocolate coloured satin dress or indeed any other similar attire.
