Vintage Whiting & Davis Gold Mesh Evening Handbag

A wonderful vintage Whiting & Davis glossy gold-toned mesh evening clutch handbag that would make a perfect accessory for an evening out on the town.  This lovely clutch handbag comes with a small length of fancy chain that can easily be tucked inside the bag.  The interior of this pretty gold-toned mesh evening handbag features lovely gold coloured fabric with two different sized internal pockets.  The frame is impressed with the Whiting & Davis & Co mark and the number 2887 and the lining has the original W&D fabric tag sewn into the interior lining.

Measurement: 10 x 5 .25″ or  (25 x 13cm)

Condition: Overall the gold mesh handbag is in very good condition – any slight wear can only be seen on the frame, chain-link and the clasp which is mainly due to the age of the piece.  However, the interior gold coloured lining is in excellent clean condition and does not show any specific signs of use.
