A fabulous, classic and timeless evening handbag from the 1950’s beautifully embellished with a profusion of clear/white facetted sparkling crystals. The absolute wonder of this evening purse is the way it has been made with each crystal individually pronged set by hand. Along the top of the silver-toned frame (possibly silver-plated) there are a line of pave set rhinestones whilst the etched detail on the twin clasp each has an embedded facetted crystal. The inside of the oyster coloured satin lining is in perfect condition and the internal snap clasp functions perfectly.  These lovely vintage evening purses/handbags are weighty due to the quality of materials and the crystals used. Handbags in great condition such as this one are increasingly difficult to find. This spectacular evening bag would definitely make a wonderful accessory for any special event – whether it is for a bridal occasion or for a glamorous evening out.
