This beautiful seven panel hand painted porcelain bracelet depicts orchids and chrysanthemum flowers and was produced by the notable Toshikane company located in Arita in Japan – the brand was founded in the early 1940’s and ceased operation in the late 1960’s. The Toshikane company primarily specialised in producing porcelain buttons but also produced lovely jewellery pieces (in three-dimensional images) that depicted wonderful themes such as flowers and fauna, exotic birds, immortal gods and gods of fortunes that captured symbolic images of Japan. These eye catching pieces have become very sought after by many collectors who have come to appreciate their artistic timeless beauty. This bracelet is signed Toshikane.
