Vintage Christian Dior Floral Motif Parure By Mitchel Maer

This is a magnificent matching set consisting of necklace, brooch and clip on pendant earrings. The exquisite floral design features prong set emerald green and lilac shade rhinestones in silver toned rhodium plating. The condition of the pieces are truly outstanding especially the rhodium plating which can suffer when subjected to perfume and other elements over time, however these pieces show minimal wear considering they date from the 1950’s.  As seen in the numerous images, the necklace, brooch and earrings all have the oval cartouche signed Christian Dior by Mitchel Maer, circa.1950’s.  Jewellery designed by Mitchel Maer is highly collectible especially the pieces that he designed during his brief time with the famous house of Christian Dior which only lasted from 1952 to 1956.

We have the bracelet that would complement this set beautifully which is being sold separately as the small stones in between the links are slightly darker in shade (more purple than lilac) to the pieces mentioned above.
