Vintage 1970’s Egyptian Revival Scarab Necklace And Cuff Bracelet

This vintage winged scarab necklace and cuff bracelet is a captivating set of jewellery made by Thomas Fattorini, Birmingham in the UK.  The Fattorini company were commissioned by the Times newspaper to produce a small number of replica jewellery (such as these pieces) for sale at the Tutankhamun Exhibition held at the British Museum in London which ran from March to December in 1972.  In this set of jewellery the Fattorini company have captured perfectly some of the wonderful essences from the amazing antiquities discovered in Egypt. The necklace secures with a bolt ring clasp and the bracelet is secured with a chain and pin bolt.  Both pieces are inscribed at the back with the Thomas Fattorini Ltd inscription.

Condition: Vey good

Measurements: The necklace is 46cm long and the pendant is 11.5cm wide x 11 cm tall.  The cuff bracelet circumference from the outside is 21.5cm and the internal circumference is approximately 17cm.
