Vintage 1950’s Apple Green “Waldybag” Handbag

A wonderful vintage “Waldybag” in a lovely vibrant apple green colour with gold toned hardware.   The inside of the handbag contrasts beautifully with the outside vibrant green colour with a subtle pale sage green silk lining that is delicately edged in gold.  The interior has two pockets on each side of the bag. One pocket holds the original mirror (still wrapped in cellophane). That side also has two pockets to hold lipsticks.  On the opposite side it has the original matching coin purse in the pale sage green silk with the apple green coloured trim that matches the outside of the handbag.  The interior has the “Waldybag” mark imprinted in gold inside.  The handbag has gold tone hardware and the clasp is shaped in a large bow which closes perfectly.  The handbag is in a wonderful, barely used condition and would make a fabulous addition to any vintage wardrobe!

Unique colours of vintage handbags are often very hard to find let alone one that is also a “Waldybag” made by H. Wald & co.  This handbag has summer vibes written all over it and would definitely look stunning matched with a vintage floral motif dress or skirt!

Measurements: 9″ width at the base of the handbag x 7.5″ from the bottom up to the top of the clasp. The handle is approximately 16″ in an arch.
