Vintage Sparkly Evening Handbag/Purse

A very pretty silver-toned vintage evening handbag/purse that has been heavily adorned with individually hand sewn micro bead embellishments over the entire bag.  Both sides of the bag have been decorated in a lovely inter-woven pattern containing bugle beads, pearls and small aurora borealis stones.  The design, using different beads, is wonderful as the beads emit a glorious shimmering shine to the whole piece.  The interior of the oyster coloured fabric is in good clean condition and has a small internal pocket.  The handbag is held by a silver-toned snake link chain.  This handbag would certainly make a perfect accessory to complement wedding attire or any other special occasion. c. 1950’s.
