Valentino Pearl & Diamante Long Sautior necklace

An absolutely stunning and beautiful multi-dimensional necklace with exquisite large creamy white pearls that are interspersed with sparkling clear diamante rondelle stations. This necklace features a large oblong faceted clear diamante stone that lays at the nape of the neck (and this measures 3cm x 2cm). At the end of each of the two combined necklaces there are two large clear facetted diamante stones each measuring about 2cm x 1cm in diameter and both are finished with beautiful multi-rondelle diamante stations at which end both have a large pearl drop. The piece is set in gold-toned metal and signed “Valentino” with the embossed “Valentino” logo on the back of the largest diamante stone. Not only can this piece be worn as a necklace but it can also be worn as a crossbody accessory for a dramatic and chic look! This necklace has some weight to it so you really can feel the high quality of the materials used such as the wonderful faux glass pearls incorporated in this stunning piece. This uniquely constructed crossbody necklace dates from the Fall-Winter 1986/87 collection. This necklace is illustrated in the book “A Grand Italian Epic” which pays homage to Valentino Garavani as one of the greatest designers of the mid to late 20th century.
I think one would be very hard pressed to find such an exquisite 1980’s “Va Va Boom” statement piece of jewellery from such a renowned designer that exudes all the quality and style that will definitely draw many admirers whenever this necklace is worn. It is just FAB!!
