Vintage Mitchel Maer Floral Motif Earrings

A lovely pair of floral motif clip-on earrings designed by Mitchel Maer for Christian Dior embellished with white paste stones set in rhodium plated base metal. These pretty earrings hug the ears in an upward sweep that frames the upper parts of the ears.  This is a wonderful collectors piece in excellent condition considering its age. Originally these earrings would have had the oval plaque with the inscription “Christian Dior by Mitchel Maer” – however this plaque was removed when the Mitchel Maer company went into liquidation. c.1950’s
