Vintage 1960’s Christian Dior Multi-Strand Crystal Necklace

An absolutely incredible and rare vintage necklace from the renowned house of Christian Dior that radiates all the elegance, sophistication and quality that one expects from an esteemed designer such as Dior.  This Dior necklace from the 1960’s features alternating drapes of beautiful facetted crystals that alternate between clear, deep red (the colour of garnets) and clear.  Each one of these three stunning strands features sparkling crystals of graduating sizes – all prong-set in individual coronet style findings that are connected by small linked chains, the whole piece is set in silver-toned metal.  The necklace fastens securely with a concealed hidden push clasp which is marked  “Chr. Measurements: The length of the shortest strand measures approximately 16.75″ and the longer one measures approximately 20″ in length.  The size of the smaller crystals are about a quarter of an inch in diameter whilst the largest crystals measure half an inch in diameter.
