Vintage Weiss Rhinestone And Art Glass Brooch

A lovely crafted brooch from the 1960’s featuring fourteen large cognac coloured facetted rhinestones in crown settings that encircle an array of different ornate stones.  There are two principal stones that are the main feature in this brooch; one is a round dome-shaped cabochon with mottled brown hues and the other is a larger facetted brown coloured boulder shaped stone. These principal stones are accented by two sizeable aurora borealis rhinestones and interspersed with ten small bright coloured orange and green rhinestones that give this brooch a wonderful element of sparkle.  The brooch is gold plated and is marked “Weiss” on the back and closes firmly with a pin and wheel clasp.  The reverse of the brooch is in wonderful condition which also shows the impeccable craftmanship that makes this exquisite “Weiss” brooch so very special!
