This exquisite necklace features eight beautifully crafted floral adornments that resembles a paisley pattern. The fabulous floral design features prong set emerald green and lilac shaded rhinestones in silver toned rhodium plating. The condition of the necklace is wonderful especially the rhodium plating which can suffer when subjected to perfume and other elements over time, however it has faired well considering it dates from the mid 1950’s. The necklace has an oval cartouche signed Christian Dior by Mitchel Maer and is circa.1950’s.
Jewellery designed by Mitchel Maer is highly collectible especially the pieces that he designed during his brief time with the famous house of Christian Dior which lasted from 1952 to 1956.
