Vintage Alfred Philippe Trifari Duette Sapphire Brooch

A stunning “Trifari Duette Brooch” by Alfred Philippe set with two large faux sapphires in each clip and surrounded by different shaped white paste stones.  A very versatile brooch – each dress clip can either be worn separately or together as a large brooch on the slide mechanism.  This gorgeous brooch shows off an intricate designed pattern of different swirls of dazzling white paste stones that still emit their sparkle and shine.  The brooch is set in Rhodium plated metal and bears the Patent No.2050804 on one clip brooch and “clip-mates” on the other one.  Both of the clip brooches are marked Trifari with the crown logo – dated about mid to late 1930’s
