Vintage Trifari Ruby Rhinestone Floral Earrings

An enchanting pair of wonderful clip-on earrings by Trifari designed by Alfred Philippe featuring five open-backed faceted ruby coloured cut glass stones with tiny clear rhinestone accents all set in sterling silver. Originally the sterling silver may have had a (gold wash) vermeil coating, however over time this has virtually disappeared like many well loved pieces.  Nonetheless these earrings are exquisite and would definitely make a beautiful addition to one’s collection. The earrings are marked Trifari with the crown – also marked on the backs “Sterling” and Pat. Pend. C.1946
