Vintage Trifari Faux Sapphire And Clear Rhinestone Clip-Mates Brooch

A lovely early Trifari “Clipmates” brooch which consists of a panel on each clip of invisibly set square faux sapphires in an array of dazzling clear round-cut rhinestones that are set in silver toned rhodium plated metal. This versatile brooch can be worn as a complete brooch or it can be separated and the individual clips worn as adornments to a dress or on lapels of a jacket etc., The dress clips mount onto the skeleton frame to make a complete brooch that fastens with secure pinwheel mechanism. One clip is marked “Clipmates” whilst the other clip is marked with the Patent Number 2050804.
