Vintage Christian Dior Floral Motif Earrings by Mitchel Maer

An exquisite pair of clip-on earrings by Mitchel Maer that features a lovely floral motif depicting the essence of a paisley design.  The wonderful colours of emerald and lilac shaded facetted rhinestones are all pronged set in silver toned rhodium plating.  One clip earring is signed Christian Dior by Mitchel Maer in an oval cartouche, however both back clips bare an inscribed patent number.  Even though these earrings date from the 1950’s they are in excellent condition for their age – even the plating is perfect!

Jewellery designed by Mitchel Maer is highly collectible primarily the pieces designed during his brief time with the famous house of Christian Dior which only lasted from 1952 to 1956′ s.  Please note we also have available a Christian Dior bracelet and necklace by Mitchel Maer in the same paisley floral motif design that would complement these earrings perfectly.
