Vintage D&E “Juliana” Rare Tourmaline Watermelon Brooch

The D & E Heliotrope Watermelon Brooch/Pendant is in a two-tiered raised floral setting with a large wonderful oval Heliotrope Watermelon rhinestone as the centrepiece.  The watermelon rhinestone has various tones of colours that are emulated in the surrounding rhinestones in a beautiful Kaleidoscope of colours – from blues, green, fuchsia, purple and the AB.  The piece dates from the 1960’s.

Measurements:  L7cm x W6.5cm.

Condition:  Very good condition considering the age of the piece – all stones are good and prongs intact.  The only issues to mention are at the back of the brooch where there are two very small solders – one on the right of the pendant hook and one just below the brooch fastening on the right between the two stones. They have been done well that they were hard to spot.
