Vintage Christian Dior Victorian Revival Parure by Mitchel Maer

A spectacular matching set consisting of a necklace, brooch and clip on earrings in the Victorian revival style. This is a beautifully designed and crafted set of jewellery featuring pale green (imitation Peridot) coloured facetted diamante stones all set in an antique gold coloured base metal finish setting. The necklace, brooch and earrings all feature prong set green (imitation Peridot) teardrop diamante stones which are embellished with similar smaller round cut stones. Christian Dior jewellery designed by Mitchel Maer is extremely rare and hard to find and therefore pieces by this designer are becoming increasingly sought after. This particular parure is of a very unusual and possibly quite unique design by Mitchel Maer for the house of Dior. C. 1950’s. The brooch has an oval plaque signed Christian Dior by Mitchel Maer and although the necklace and earrings are unsigned, this appears to be a complete set by the same designer.
